Light stitching that traces out a smile. Clean cuts that bring out the tactile quality of the hide and leather.
After “Ginger” and “Fred”, a new project by Roberto Lazzeroni, for Poltrona Frau. The “Montera” chair. The common denominator in the designer’s work is the lightness of form and, above all, the sensory charm of leather. The internal part of the shell is covered in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System. In elegant contrast the external surface is in Cuoio Saddle® Extra. Two different materials that enhance each other when sewed together with clean-cut edges. On the back of the seat the visible stitching traces a delicate motif and hides the zipper which, like an impeccable tailor-made suit, is used to close the cover. The seat is also available in a version completely covered in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System. Shell in moulded curved beech plywood. Padding in polyurethane foam. Four-leg base in Wengéstained solid ash wood.
The “Montera” is a perfect visual match for the new “Bolero” table, also by Roberto Lazzeroni.
