LepLeplì stool, bench and footrest, designed by Kensaku Oshiro The new collection, Leplì, comprises of a padded stool, a bench and a footrest can be easily mixed with the existing Poltrona Frau collection. The Japanese designer, Kensaku Oshiro,has designed three pieces with great versatility yet with a strong identity.. For this collection,the designer has drawn inspiration from traditional Poltrona Frau production processes and decorations, combining them with tailoring ideas from the fashion world. Classic stitching and soft folds enhance the sinuous minimalism of the design. The combination of textiles and leathercreate an elegant effect. The voluptuous curves of the stool , are inspired by the female body shape , as if it were a dress, with slender belt highlighting her “waist”. This delicate ornamental strip can be played in different combinations. The leather upholstery comes with the same-colour of the leather whilst he fabric upholstery comes with contrasting leather. The frame of the stool, the bench and the footrest is in birch plywood and poplar with uprights in solid beech. The base is in multilayer poplar with bottom in black lacquered non-scratch MDF. Padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Upholstered available in Pelle Frau® Heritage, Nest, Soul, Century leather or leather from the Color System or in Poltrona Frau textiles.
