Since 1992 Miss Jodie Phillips has had the opportunity to work in the yacht maintenance and construction industry. As a boat yard technical manager and as a refit project manager she has gained experience relating to all aspects of a sailing vessel. After many years of working on all types and sizes of yachts whether it be GRP, wood or steel, identifying positive or negatives aspects of a yacht has become second nature. During years of working along side carpenters, steel fabrication workers, painters and riggers as well as many other specialists Jodie gained extensive knowledge in finding problems and creating solutions.
Working with hundreds of boat yard staff from all sorts of backgrounds and nationalities and thousands of yacht owners from around the world has given Jodie the experience of relating and adapting to individual needs and responding accordingly. Part of being a boat yard and project manger also means having an understanding of how to work with local and International Maritime Authorities, processing paper work and carrying out customs formalities.
Currently Jodie is studying for her Yacht and Small Craft Surveying Diploma through the IIMS. Her roll in the company is to work as a project manager on major refits, carry out surveys and to be the main representative and surveyor involving Turkish Maritime Authorities
As an enthusiastic sailor with a passion for the sea Jodie has dedicated her life to working with yachts and furthering her experience.
